Remember, Remember the 5th of November…

Autumn has begun. The nights are drawing in earlier, the air is starting to get colder and celebrations are about to start. It’s nearly the time when firework displays are held, bonfires are lit and effigies of Guy Fawkes are designed.

The fifth of November is just around the corner, and like every year, everyone is ready to party. It’s a fun night all round, celebrated nationally to mark the anniversary of when Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament…and failed.

What are you doing on bonfire night this year? Here at Spicers, we usually enjoy a feast of delicious traditional food, such as hog roasts and toffee apples, as the bonfire lights up the night. Let us know what your bonfire night traditions are in the comments below.

“Thanking you for all your help with the hampers this year. I have had only compliments for the contents. I have been told by a couple of colleagues that this one was actually the best one so far. So thank you very much. Look forward to next christmas as it is only 333 days away lol.”
