Okay, so we’re super biased, but we honestly believe that any teacher would be thrilled to receive one of our hampers as a thank you gift for all their hard work and dedication during the school term.
From retro sweets, chocolate-filled baskets, savoury sensations to wine and gin-based gifts, or individual to sharing hampers, we have the hamper for you and can even organise a personalised message along with delivery. Take a look at some hampers here!
However if your child wanted to hand-make a gift, or something to accompany a hamper, here are a couple of ideas.
Create a gift and encourage green fingers with ‘forget me not’ flowers. Terracotta plant pots look really effective hand painted or decorated with sponge shapes, whatever your child’s skill level (don’t forget varnish if for outside use). You can either sow some seeds in advance or pop a pack inside the pot before wrapping.
Keeping well hydrated is always a challenge for a busy teacher, why not treat them to a new drinks bottle to keep them going throughout the Summer and for hectic classrooms ahead. Permanent markers can be used to add a personalised message as a constant reminder that their work is always appreciated and valued.
For the teacher that truly has everything, you may decide that a thoughtful card is enough. Handmade treasures will always be appreciated and a teacher will always know which paintings have taken a child the most effort! Whether you wanted to opt for a painted picture, or a collage – tissue paper flowers are usually fun and effective.
