Christmas is the perfect holiday to invest some time in experimenting with different food and drinks. Whether you’re hosting a festive party or enjoying a cosy night in - it’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy something a little special around the Christmas tree! Here at Spicers, we’ve shared some of our favourite cocktail and mocktail recipes to get you into the festive spirit – enjoy!
Raspberry Bellini
Ingredients to serve one:
- ¼ glass of raspberry liqueur
- 1 sprig of fresh basil
- ¾ Accademia Prosecco
Method
- Pour one-part raspberry liqueur into a chilled flute glass
- Add a sprig of fresh basil, top up with prosecco and serve immediately
Elderflower Collins
Ingredients to serve one:
- 50ml The Lakes Elderflower Gin
- 20ml lemon juice
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 10ml elderflower cordial
- Soda to finish
Method
- Shake up the gin, lemon, sugar and cordial for 10 seconds until well mixed
- Pour over ice in a tumbler glass and top up with soda water
- Finish with a sprig of thyme and enjoy
Rhubarb, rosehip and ginger mocktail
Ingredients to serve one:
- 100ml Mr Fitzpatrick’s Rhubarb and Rosehip Cordial
- 25ml ginger syrup
- 10ml lemon juice
- 1 slice lemon
- Soda water
Method:
- Shake the cordial, ginger syrup and lemon juice until well combine
- Pour over ice in a large wine glass and top with soda water and slice of lemon.
