Spicers of Hythe wants your ordering experience to be as premium as the hamper your receive. Our terms and conditions outline everything you can expect throughout the process of ordering a Spicers of Hythe hamper.
Messages
If you would like a message we can include a gift message upto 240 charecters including spaces and punctuation. The message is included as part of the delivery documentation and can be separated as a card.
Discounts 2011
If you are ordering a quantity of hampers please call 01303 235625 for a quotation. If you have received a promotional code these can be redeemed in the checkout.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online Brochure, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Add to Basket" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to UK Pounds.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Pricing & VAT
Prices are quoted excluding VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the checkout at the current rate on the standard rated elements of hamper, this will include items like wines and champagnes, chocolates etc and also delivery. All prices for Goods as specified in Spicers of Hythe Ltd brochure or at agreed contract prices. On invoices the rates of VAT per hamper will be detailed basised on the over VAT percentage. We ensure that the price of all goods and services we are offering are clear and easily found. This means we show the actual price clearly. In the event of human error or malfunction in the technology, the prices on the site do not commit us to sale.
Cancellations
Cancellation and refund of orders will only be accepted if
- The goods have not been despatched
- The cancellation is made in writing
Cancellation Charges - a restocking charge will be made on all orders cancelled based on the following rates
- Over 60 days prior to despatch - 10% of the hamper total
- Upto 30 days prior to despatch - 50% of the hamper total
- Upto 14 days prior to depsatch - 100% of the hamper total
Any orders returned will be subject to 10% restocking charge
Shipping And Handling
Select the delivery option per product. For large quantities of hampers being delivered to one address a bulk discounted delivery charge will be applied, select the "Bulk delivery option" and we will get back to you with a bulk price, or please call 0870 603 0006.
Some products only suitable for delivery within the UK. If you require your delivery to an address outside the UK please check here for the countries we currently ship to. If you require any further information please call +44(0) 870 603 0006.

Delivery Schedule
We will endeavour to deliver on the day requested but delays may occur in busy times that are outside our direct control. Please allow 3 working days for us to process and pack your order. For large quantities of hampers being delivered to one address a bulk discounted delivery charge will be applied.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
